Welcome to Pony Express Territory

Highway 50, running through the middle of the Pony Express area, has been dubbed “The Loneliest Road” in the country.  However, this description does not do justice to the red-violet skies, wide valleys, and ever-present Nevada mountains you will find along its route.  Surprisingly, many of the communities are within an hour’s drive from urban Reno.  Other towns such as historic Ely and Eureka may reach farther out into the state, but remain vibrant and offer a lifestyle free of traffic jams and long commutes.
